How Long Will It Take To Have Success?
When I started in this industry, I was told that if I worked hard that in just a few short months I could replace my income and be full-time. Well that was not the facts. I want to be honest with you and let you know that this business is like all other business. It takes time and effort. The more effort the lesser of the time it will take. If I were asked today how long it will take to have a full-time income in the home based business industry, I would say 12 to 18 months. If you work your business everyday for two hours, it will take much less. If you spend two hours a day with marketing, it can take less than 6 months.

What should you be doing with your business time? First off you need to set your hours of operations. Just like a brick and mortar business, your business needs to open and close. You need to figure out how much time you are going to spend on your business. No matter how much time you have, set that time down as when you will spend on building your business. Let your family and friends know that during this time you are unavailable and will be closing at when your business hours are over. You must set aside time each day to build your business.
Here is an example of a part time business builder:
- Thirty minutes to one hour writing an article/blog post or video. You want to create one piece of content each day for the first ninety days
- Thirty minutes posting and backlinking your content all over the net
- Thirty minutes learning and gaining knowledge about marketing and finding new ways to market your business
- The last thirty minutes will grow as your business grows. This time is where you will be calling and talking to your prospects and closing them into your business.
Here is an example of a full time business builder
- Thirty minutes to one hour writing an article/blog post or video. You want to create one piece of content each day
- Thirty minutes posting and back linking your content all over the net
- One hour a day for personal development and marketing training.
- One hour a day in social media marketing
- One hour a day calling your prospects and closing them in your business
If you put in the time and spend your time of business building activities and stay away from non business building activities, I call busy work. Like email, building web sites and distractions. You will have a successful business in six to 12 months. You must have to be consistent in your work and work your business hours every single day. The more time you put in your business, the faster your business will build. It also will show your team that you are a professional in this industry and are in it for the long haul.
